For the second year in a row, Sharon Towers has been recognized by U.S. News and World Report as one of the best nursing homes in North Carolina.

As with their report in 2021, Sharon Towers received an overall rating of 5 out of 5 and a short-term rehabilitation rating of High Performing from the national publication. This rating evaluates a nursing home’s quality of post-acute care for patients recovering from an acute hospital stay such as after a stroke, heart attack, surgery or injury.

U.S. News & World Report’s Evaluation Process

For the 2022-2023 report, U.S. News looked at over 15,000 nursing homes for care, safety, infection rates, staffing and health inspections. Each year, the process is refined based on new criteria considerations. This year the Best Nursing Homes ratings also featured a new measure on weekend staffing and another new measure on infection rates that led to hospitalizations.

The U.S. News badges are awarded by an unbiased trust agent and are widely recognized symbols of excellence in U.S. healthcare. They indicate truly exceptional performance.

Congratulations to the Medicare Team

Receiving this prestigious distinction for a second year in a row is a truly impressive accomplishment by the interdisciplinary Medicare team. Congratulations on this remarkable achievement!
