Sharon Towers Recognized for Outstanding Dedication to Local Walk to End Alzheimer's

On October 22, 2022, dozens of Sharon Towers residents and staff assembled for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Charlotte, NC. The routine of loading food and supplies was as familiar as the ever-present purple shirts. After many years of participating and sponsorship, the preparation runs like a well-oiled machine. And while this level of dedication has become a common occurrence, it doesn’t diminish its importance.

A Cause with Personal Impact

To underscore Sharon Towers’ commitment to the event and the cause, Director of Vitality & Well-Being Jessica Bourque was tapped to contribute to a recent blog post on the Alzheimer’s Association of North Carolina’s website. In the post, Jessica discusses what this event means to the participants – and why the Sharon Towers team consistently outraises teams in the area and around the country. The motivations are varied, but each person representing the team has his or her reason. And everyone there knows that their participation has a profound impact in the fight to end Alzheimer’s.

Congratulations to the Vitality & Well-Being Team

We’ve so proud of Jessica and the entire Vitality & Well-Being team for consistently and enthusiastically supporting the Charlotte Walk to End Alzheimer’s. If you’re interested in participating in a future walk, contact Jessica via email or call her at 704-553-3812.
