Sharon Towers Announces Addition of Short-Term Rehab Program
To better serve the community and in its tradition of excellence in continuing care and health-related services, Sharon Towers is proud to announce a new short-term rehabilitation program.
Long renowned as a caring atmosphere for residents, Sharon Towers now extends our hand to members of the community recovering from injuries requiring short term rehabilitation.
Experienced Rehab Staff
Our experienced rehabilitation staff is made up of licensed, dedicated and highly skilled physical, occupational and speech therapists. The team delivers effective therapies and treatments with personally tailored programs that focus on each individual’s recovery goals.
Sharon Towers’ Health Center is Medicare certified, licensed by the North Carolina Division of Health Services Regulation, and maintains a high nurse-to resident ratio. Sharon Towers provides on-site primary care by board-certified geriatricians from Carolinas HealthCare System and Novant Health. A physician or nurse practitioner is in-house Monday through Thursday.
To prepare for a resident’s return home, the resident meets with the interdisciplinary team of staff involved in his or her care. The team of our staff and the resident creates a plan for a successful transition home, including setting up resources such as home health care and providing the doctor a brief medical summary. As needed, a therapist can provide a home assessment prior to discharge to ensure a safe environment at home as well as to make recommendations for home modifications. Our therapists also order and fit equipment needed prior to discharge.
Sharon Towers’ staff reviews each case individually to determine whether we are able to provide the level of care required for each short term rehabilitation patient. Let us assist you in making the next step in recovery for you or your loved one. Call Laura Buck, Social Worker, at 704-571-7115, email her here, or fill out our Contact Form.

Short-term stays can be paid through Medicare A insurance and a secondary health insurance. Sharon Towers is not Medicaid certified.
