A Caring Community

For over 50 years Sharon Towers has been a community of compassion and caring…and your gifts help us continue to care for our residents and enhance our community.

For those who wish to help us continue our mission of care, several gift giving options are available.

Residents’ Assistance Fund

Residents' Assitance FundThe Residents’ Assistance Fund (RAF) is the primary fund to which contributions are made. Gifts made in response to the RAF Annual Campaign, Angel Tree, and Tribute gifts are directed to the RAF. Donations to the Fund allow Sharon Towers to provide financial assistance to residents and prospective residents in the way of reduced monthly service fees or waived entrance fees. These recipients, who remain anonymous, are our friends and neighbors who have proudly paid their way their entire lives but now find themselves unable to afford the increased costs of care during retirement.

Since opening our doors, $13,649,292 million in monthly service fee assistance and $6,989,163 million in entrance fees have been provided. Gifts made to the Residents’ Assistance Fund make a difference in the lives and sense of security for each recipient. In 2020, thanks to the generosity of our loyal donors, Sharon Towers provided $585,579 in monthly services fees and $384,000 in waived entry fees to individuals. Beyond financial support, the Fund provides residents with peace of mind and a sense of security.

Gifts to the Residents’ Assistance Fund can be made online, with cash, through Donor Advised Funds or Family Foundations, IRA distributions, and gifts of stock.
