Each Friday and Saturday night, Allison’s Fine Dining at Sharon Towers gives residents a chance to expand their culinary horizons, including a prix-fixe menu every weekend in addition to the a la carte menu.

After an appetizer such as Smoked Salmon Tartar, Mozzarella Salad or Roasted Eggplant Bruschetta, residents have savored entrées including Coffee Crusted Grilled Ribeye, Grilled Lamb Chops, or Seafood Risotto. Desserts like Roasted Pineapple Tartlet or Bourbon Vanilla Rice Pudding complete the experience.

Residents have responded so well that in 2015, a monthly chef’s tasting menu was added.

On a given night — after a one-bite introductory specialty such as Lobster Bisque espresso cup to “awaken the senses” — residents can sample delights that may include Oysters Rockefeller, Pan Seared Branzino, North Carolina Shrimp Soup or Lemon Sole Meuniere, with heavenly desserts such as Coffee Flan with Kahlua caramel or Coconut Panna Cotta. The events have been a consistent sell-out.
