Technology seems to change so fast that it is hard to keep up with it. But a new face is here to help us do just that. On March 2, David Lopez joined Jody Williams on the Information Technology (IT) team at Sharon Towers as the IT assistant.
A Welcome Change
Before coming to Sharon Towers, David was an IT technician at Amazon. He enjoyed his time at Amazon, but he is glad to be joining our slower paced, more relaxed, homelike environment. “I love interacting with the residents as well as with the staff members,” Lopez says. “They’ve all been very welcoming.”
As for the focus of his work, Lopez adds “I have a passion for technology and equipment. And at Sharon Towers, I love the diversity of things to do here. There’s always a new challenge every day.”
When asked if there is anything he wants residents of Sharon Towers to know, David smiles warmly. “I want to make sure they know that I’m friendly,” he says. “I’m very approachable if anyone ever wants to ask questions, talk, get more information or just get to know me more. I’m always in a good mood and always there to help anyone who needs it.”
Personal Life
In his spare time, Lopez enjoys watching movies and playing video games with friends. He also likes playing basketball and soccer as well as traveling.
So, if you see him in the halls or happen to seek him out for some technical advice, be sure to introduce yourself and ask David about some of the activities he enjoys or ask if he has any new photos to share of his wife and baby girl who was born only a couple of weeks ago!
